On 20 July, 2017, within the framework of the annual Ambassadorial meeting, a special cultural and educational programme for the spouses of Georgian Ambassadors was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. The programme was organized for the fifth time and aimed to strengthen the role of Ambassadors’ spouses in supporting the promotion of Georgia in their countries of residence.

On 17 July, Kakhi Kenkadze, the Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, delivered a public lecture on “Daniel Defoe –Prototype of the British Colonist and the Founder of the British Foreign Intelligence” for the MFA staff, as well as the representatives from different institutions and his family members.

On 5 July, the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in cooperation with the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies started a seminar on “US and Russian Foreign Policy”, delivered by the lecturers of the George Marshall Centre – Dr. Matthew Rhodes and Dr. Graeme Herd.
