Local Cooperation

  1. Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS)
    Diplomatic Training Centre actively cooperates with the "Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies" (GFSIS). Within the cooperation framework numerous seminars have been conducted on the following topics: "Deep and Comprehencive Free Trade Area" (DCFTA), "Training of Trainers" (TOT) and "Project Cycle Managment" (PCM). 

  2. Georgian Sommelier Association
    With the purpose of promoting cooperation and development in the area of diplomatic training, the Training Centre signed Memorandum of Understanding with the "Georgian Sommelier Association". In 2014, within the Programme for Georgian Ambassador's Spouses, the head of the Georgian Sommelier Association delivered a lecture about the Georgian Wine. The lecture was followed by the wine tasting. In November, 2015, within the scope of the MOU Georgian sommelier Association hosted participants of the "Capacity Building Programme for Diplomats" to learn more about Georgian Wine.

  3. International Centre for Geopolitical Studies
    In June, 2014, within the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the International Centre fo Geopolitical Studies, at the Diplomatic Centre conducted the course on following topics: History and Development of Diplomatic Protocol, Diplomatic Protocol and its Peculiarities in Georgia, Protocol for holding Official Receptions, etc. 

  4. Language School
    Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Diplomatic Training Centre and LTD "Language School" in October, 2014, the Diplomatic Training Centre organized a three month georgian language training course, "Survival Georgia", for foreign diplomats accredited to Georgia.

  5. Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA)
    In November-December, 2014, within the cooperation framework with the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Diplomatic Training Centre conducted the seminar about "Media-Communication - Press Release Drafting Techniques". The course was delivered by Nino Ivanishvili (trainer of TV journalists, Thomson Reuters Foundation; Invited lecturer, Zurab Zhvania Georgian Institute of Public Affairs). The Participants of the training were representatives of the press-service from the MFA, the Ministry of Defence, the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues, and the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. 
  1. Levan Mikeladze Foundation
    In cooperation with the Levan Mikeladze Foundation, the Diplomatic Training Centre conducted a series of public lectures for students from several universities: "Trade Policy of Georgia and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area" (DCFTA) (Mikheli Janelidze, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs) and "Russia-Georgia Relations - New Reality" (Zurab Abashidze, Prime Minister's Special Representative for Russian Issues).
  1. Caucasus Academy of Security Experts (CASE)
    A training course on "Cyber Security" was conducted within the cooperation framework with the Caucasus Academy of Security Experts (CASE). The course was implemented as part of the "Capacity Building Programme for Diplomats" and was held at the Diplomatic Training Centre.
  1. Civil Service Bureau
    In May, 2015, within the cooperation framework with the Civil Service Bureau a seminar on "Ethics and Conduct Rules in Public Service" was conducted. The course was implemented as part of the "Capacity Building Programme for Diplomats" and was held at the Diplomatic Training Centre.
  1. Partners-Georgia
    In September, 2015, a training course on "Effective Communication" was conducted by Partners-Georgia. The course was implemented as part of the "Capacity Building Programme for Diplomats" and was held at the Diplomatic Training Centre. 
  1. The Georgian Arts and Culture Centre
    In November, 2015, within the cooperation framework with the Georgian Arts and Culture Centre, Diplomatic Training Centre organized a lecture "Overview of History and Culture". The lecture was implemented as part of the programme " About Georgia" for foreign diplomats and their spouses accredited to Georgia. 
  1. Georgian National Film Centre
    In December, 2015, within the cooperation framework with the "Georgian National Film Centre", Diplomatic Training Centre hosted a lecture "Overview of Georgian Cinematography". The lecture was implemented as part of the programme "About Georgia" organized for foreign diplomats and their spouses accredited to Georgia.
