The public lecture on “Georgia’s Historical Bridges with Europe”

20.03.18 On 19  March, the series of lectures “About Georgia” has renewed at The Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training Centre of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. The public lecture on “Georgia’s Historical Bridges with Europe” was presented by Kakhi Kenkadze, Associated Harvard Professor.

The lecture was attended by the representatives from Embassies and representatives of International Women Association (IWA).

On 22 June a meeting with Gela Charkviani, Georgian diplomat, writer, educator and television personality was held at the Information Center on NATO and EU, organized by the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute. Within the framework of the meeting Gela Charkviani shared his multiyear academic and diplomatic experience with the audition and answered their questions.

The Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute devotes special attention to the provision of the information about the profession of Diplomat to young people, by organizing lectures on the relevant topics. For this purpose, the Institute, in cooperation with the “Young Diplomats’ Club”, started a three-day course about the “History of Diplomacy in Modern Georgia” on 20 June, delivered by its Research Fellows, Ambassadors: Mikheil Ukleba, Konstantine Zhgenti, Nikoloz Rtveliashv

On 1 June, the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute launched a series of lectures – “Meeting with the Ambassador”. The first lecture was delivered by the former Ambassador of Georgia to China, Bulgaria and Ukraine and Permanent Representative to GUAM, Mikheil Ukleba and the former Ambassador of Georgia to Denmark and Iceland. They spoke about the modern history of Georgia and the Ambassador’s practical activities.
